Background

We opened Over the Rainbow in 2005 to fill a gap in the toy market. We were inspired by our own children and frustrated by the lack of good quality and original products, the poor customer service and a lack of specialist knowledge and advice. As a result we set about sourcing products from across the world.

Since opening the support and feedback from our customers has been fantastic. We have listened to what our customers have told us, and continually strived to improve the range of products and service we offer.

Most of our products you won’t find in the high street stores, and many will be unique to just a few specialist shops like Over the Rainbow. Every year we visit the world famous toy fair in Nuremberg to find the most innovative and original toys from across the world.

Our Aims and Values

Quite simply we aim to provide a wide selection of high quality, great value educational toys, games, puzzles, puppets and crafts for children from birth to around 12 years old and we have a large range of science and educational products for older children. We are committed to providing all of our customers with help and advice, and we are always delighted to order items especially for customers.
